Perri was the ONLY realtor to understand my position and reason for selling. I was the executor of my Father's will and not in a hurry to sell. She knew it wasn't a fire drill. All the other realtors I interviewed said I should ask for a lower price than I thought the home was worth to sell it quickly. They weren't listening to me. I wasn't in a rush - they were. I'm glad I waited for Perri to make my decision. I knew she was the right person when she walked in the door. She was straightforward, business minded but also friendly and outgoing. Perri was the only one who heard me and was willing to do the work. We discussed it and decided on what we felt was a fair price based on the comps in the area. She did the work and spent the time. She was in constant contact with me and returned all my calls. After a couple of months, she found an offer that I felt was fair and I accepted. Perri had my listing for a year and a half, and it was an older home (that is, no "open plan"), and despite numerous improvements, it took that long to sell. Perri did everything she could, with multiple open house events, changing the wording on the online listing, using her social media, and the like. We closed on our Pittsburgh home on a Thursday, and closed on our new Philly condo the very next day! Perri was our realtor and she is just terrific: knowledgeable, professional, personable, responsive and always available for a client. We could not recommend her more highly. Our house did not sell right away and Perri constantly worked with us to continue to market the property: open houses, realtor lunches, additional pics, aerial pics, consultations on possible house updates, immediate feedback/ discussions on comments made by potential buyers. At one point we took the property off the market and then wanted to place it back months later; Perri was totally flexible and did not try to pressure us one way or the other. She advises on pros and cons and then steps back for the clients to make the decisions. Her focus from the beginning was - you are the client- you need to be comfortable, we do what you want. It is impossible to capture all the ways Perri's dedication and availability to her clients guide her work. Two examples will have to do: We texted and emailed with her regarding an important deadline that arose after she left on an international trip visiting her child, as though she was in the office and not in a different time zone! Secondly, we were out of town when the Jonas storm visited the area and deposited over two feet of snow. We consulted neighbors to locate someone to plow. Well it turned out that the driveway was too narrow to plow. Perri volunteered her son, but then worked alongside him to shovel our very long and narrow driveway and walkway. Perri was the force behind ensuring that our buyers, with their mortgage lender, would have access to the house two days following the storm. We could not have located someone better than Perri!
